Jammu, Jan 23: AAP-J&K, Jammu convened a meeting to discuss the condition of border residents from Kathua to Poonch in particular. AAP's Arnia based activist Ram Pal Khajuria revealed some shocking facts related to the so-called health care of firing victims. As per his statement, 26 villages of Arnia sector are the direct target of Pak's shelling and only one Primary health center of Arnia with merely two doctors, one pharma asstt., one nurse, one MPW, one Lab Asstt and one dental asstt is now locked by the staff that has shifted to the native village 'Kool' and temporarily functioning in a shop. Adding further, Khajuria said that three ambulances are recently deputed but unavailable for firing victims without diesel charges. AAP leaders, while expressing its worries said that if Arnia sector victims of Jammu district have to face such a casual treatment of authorities then situation at Rajouri & Poonch areas' firing victims can be well understood as also reported by AAP leader Yassar Khan of Mendhar, Poonch. AAP strongly condemned the non seriousness of successive as well as present central and state governments those have failed to develop the needed safety mechanism for the border area residents of state. Adding further, it stressed upon the state government for a credible handing of the situation by making all possible arrangements for firing victims and other residents on war footing.
