BJP's apathy towards border residents leaves Govt red faced
1/24/2018 12:01:41 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 23: The BJP central leadership is increasingly concerned over the failure of the BJP legislators and more so its ministers failing to reach out to the people who have been affected by firing from Pakistan at the borders.
The locals have alleged that when it was time to get votes these BJP legislators would woo and plead them for votes but in the times of crisis they are missing.
"Where have these BJP ministers disappeared in times of distress? They have not bothered to come o meet us when were suffering like hell. They have turned out to be more opportunistic and vote crazy than we could ever imagine," said one of the residents.
The BJP ministers were seen sitting in cozy atmosphere of the Assembly when the borders were on the fire. Not one of them camped along with the border residents to show an expression of sympathy and empathy.
"We are shocked to know about. When the India govt is going all out to teach Pak a lesson and the world opinion is gravitating around us, our own leaders have not shown any concern that is beyond words. Their act is not pardonable and they will get dressing down," said the senior central command leader.
The BJP legislators and even the ministers have also failed to counter the opposition which has been cornering the government over its alleged failure to protect the lives of border residents. The only recourse the BJP legislators are doing is to shout anti-Pak slogans.'
"It's the responsibility BJP not the PDP to come to the aid of the government as firing is going on in their constituencies. But since they haven't shown any sensitivity and have been with the affected people they don't have anything to counter the opposition leaving the government red-faced," said he senior PDP minister.
