JKBOSE fails to recover Rs 25 cr from Government: Pvt Schools Association | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: While criticizing the casual attitude of top functionaries of JK-BOSE and the state government & its ministers, Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) today alleged that instead of much needed streamlining of BOSE, self showcasing process is being carried out by them to befool the masses as a whole. An amount of above Rs 25 crore is to be paid by the state govt. to the Board against supply of books to government schools & needy students due to which, Board has to face a financial crunch but its top puppet management never dares to resist, Association further alleged. In order to secure their existence & promotional agenda, BOSE top functionaries are misleading the minister by going for foundation stone of any new building at its Jammu complex which can't be appreciated at all due to its location in thickly populated area of city facing jamming problems always, Association further alleged. Such a futile exercise of BOSE officials & the minister will prove just meaningless & loss of public money, it added. "We had repeatedly insisted state govt. to depute its delegation of experts for visiting Himachal Pradesh & Tamil Nadu states school Boards to know their credible style of working and apply the same for needed uplift of the state School Board but got no result which is sufficient to access the seriousness of state govt. & BOSE authorities," Association alleged. |
