Early Times Report
rajouri, Mar 23: Hundreds of Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers of district Rajouri today assembled at district headquarters as a part of state wide programme.
Pertinent to mention is that the chairman of JKRETTF Farooq Tantray had issued the advisory to all district bodies to submit the charter of demands which include delinking of SSA salaries from central budget, comprehensive transfer policy for RETs as per the judgement of High Court, adjustment of surplus tagged teachers on available vacant posts and accelerating the regularization process of EVs.
The assembled teachers marched to District Development Commissioner's (DDC's) office where the memorandum was submitted to Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Qayoom Mir.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to deputation led by district president JKRETTF Aftab Tantray and assured for timely forwarding the memorandum to concerned quarters.
Addressing the media persons, the JKRETTF spokesman, Ajeet Singh Khalsa elaborated on the issues of teaching community. He said that the state body has given April 1 as the deadline for the redressal of the demands of ReTs.
In case nothing concrete is done in this regard, all the 65000 ReTs would lock out the schools and come on roads, he added.
