4/22/2018 10:26:27 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 22: Accusing the BJP of using Police force and other coercive methods to silence those who were highlighting the corrupt practices of its MLAs and Ministers, a social activist of Ramnagar Narinder Singh Thakur held a vociferous protest demonstration at press club in Jammu today alongwith several other activists.
The protestors raised slogans against BJP MLA R.S Pathania and Ramnagar Police for harassing and victimizing those who were exposing the corrupt BJP leaders for their acts of omission and commission. Narinder Singh, while addressing the media persons said that he had sought enquiry into the duping of 33 youth of Chanderkot by BJP MLA R.S Pathania in the name of providing them govt jobs as widely reported in the social media. He said that there were several posts uploaded on facebook by the affected youth who had claimed to be cheated by said BJP MLA in the name of employment and huge amount of money allegedly extorted from them.
He said that face book post of a Chanderkot youth described the unfortunate incident and revealed that RS Pathania had cheated the youth by claiming to be close to Dr. Nirmal Singh Dy. CM. A post of one Gulzar Ali of Chanderkot had categorically accused the said MLA of robbing the poor youth of their meager resources earned through sweat and toil by issuing guarantee of job in lieu of money, he said. Likewise there were other facebook posts which charged the said MLA of corrupt and immoral conduct, Narinder revealed.
