Hiranagar Zone lifts title of under 17 girls football trophy

Hiranagar, May 16: The Department of Youth Services and Sports organised the competitions of football and badminton for under 14 and 17 years girls at Sports Stadium Hiranagar and at Infant Jesus Higher Secondary School Hiranagar respectively during ongoing inter zone tournament today on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, zone Hiranagar lifted the trophy of under 17 Football and zone Marheen won the under 14 football title. Meanwhile, at Infant Jesus Higher Secondary School Hiranagar Niketa Raina and Pallavi of Hiranagar excelled in badminton singles title and Sonia, Rajini and Payal of Sallan zone emerged winners of doubles title. In under 17, Zone Hiranagar trounced zone Sallan by 3-0 goals. Earlier, zone Sallan outplayed Zone Marheen by 2-0 goals. In under 14, Zone Marheen thrashed zone Sallan by 2-0 goals in final. Earlier, Sallan outplayed Hiranagar by 2-0 goals.
