Early Times Report JAMMU, May 17: A meeting of Minority Department of JKPCC was held here today at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu in which various issues of minority communities of Jammu and Kashmir were discussed threadbare. S. Gurdarshan Singh, Vice Chairman of Minority Department of PCC presided over the meeting. Demanding constitution of State Minority Commission S. Gurdashan Singh said that in absence of the Minority Commission, the benefits of various schemes launched by Central Govt. for the welfare of minority community people do not reach to them and this is the reason of backwardness of people belonging to minority community in Jammu and Kashmir State. He urged upon the Govt. to constitute State Minority Commission as early as possible. He said that until their demand is not considered, the PCC Minority Dept. will continue its struggle, in the larger interest of people of minority community.
