Dogras of Jammu will never forgive BJP-PDP Govt: Manohar Lal
6/19/2018 10:51:13 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 19: Senior Congress leader and ex-minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today said that the Dogras of Jammu will never forgive BJP-PDP coalition government for its misdeeds. He expressed serious concerns on the future of J&K in the coming years.
Dr Sharma said that from the first day of this government formation, it was a flop show and it was felt from the first month of its working that it would fail to complete even a single year of governance. The political and ideological differences between the two alliance partners were sufficient enough to question their competency to run the government effectively. However, BJP for the sake of power surrendered completely before the PDP and let the latter do its work causing a series of irreversible damage to the people of Jammu and Ladakh. PDP on the other hand utterly failed to fulfill the aspirations of people of Kashmir and this failed team play after four years ended up creating a state of mess in the already volatile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Sharma said the Jammu region specifically faced the brunt of this failure and was completely deprived of its representation in government for the first time in the history of independent India. These elected BJP MLAs were mere puppets of PDP leadership and were working as mere spectators leading helping hands for the fulfillment of PDP agendas therefore destroying the aspirations of the Dogras of Jammu. It is very unfortunate that during this regime, we the Dogras of Jammu were propagated as pro-rapist in much hyped Rasana case and BJP failed even to order CBI inquiry for the same. Hundreds of jawans and citizens have lost their lives in cross border firing and militant activities all under this unholy failed alliance.
