Kamaljeet emerges winner in 88th Ramkote Kesari Dangal

Kathua, June 21: Kamaljeet doomshedi defeated Shindha Narangwal to win 88th Ramkote Kesri Dangal, organised by the Dangal Committee Ramkote at Ramkote, Kathua.
The winner got Rs 100,000 prize money presented by chief guest Dr. Nirmal Singh Speaker JK assembly.
This historical dangal is being organized every year ever since 1930. This year in total, 75 bouts were decided in the day-long Dangal among huge crowd of more than 35000 spectators. The second main bout was between Gopi Leela and Bheem Doomsherdi of Rajastan for Rs 51000. Bheem was the winner. The third bout was between Jassa Leela and Goldi Chamkor Sahib for Rs 41000. Goldi Chamkor was the winner fourth bout was between Sukha Rajastan and Manpreet Doomshedi for Rs 35000. Sukha was the winner.
The fifth main bout between gurpreet and Tinku for Rs 31000. Tinku was the winner. sixth bout was between Kala and Nawazad for Rs 25000 Nawazad was the winner.
Female pehalwaan Poonam Haryana challenged Mushtak Basantgarh and she was the winner with a slogan beti padao and beti bachao.
Special bouts were between Kala and Dilshan. Kala was the winner and Jaideep and Gurpreet, Jaideep was the winner.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion included by K.S Jaswal retd. Bregadier, Gaurav Gupta secretary chamber of commerce Marathon Man of Jammu, Dr. Jagdish Mehra CEO Katra developement authority, Rahul Ji Basotra Tehsildar Ramkote, SHO Billawar Vijay Sharma. Chowki officer Ramkote, in presence of Madan Gopal, Chairman Rajesh Gupta, President and Vinay Gupta Vice President of the committee.
