Kathua, July 11: To mark the foundation day of Bharat Vikas Parishad, members of Bharat Vikas Parishad Kathua Unit visited Home for Aged & Infirm, Kathua on July 10th, 2018.
They individually interacted with the residents. It was reflecting from their expressions that they were longing to share their grief with someone. Some of them were in tears while interacting. Some of them were quite comfortable and contented while some of them were dissatisfied and upset.
While speaking on the occasion, Gandharb Singh Katal, President of the Local Unit of Parishad, thanked the old-age home authorities and the inhabitants for their full cooperation. He mentioned that the inmates were very hospitable and friendly and such interactions can break the monotony of their lives. He narrated that the Parishad is going to undertake mass scale plantation in the current rainy season. Present during the programme were Prof. Ram Murti Sharma Patron, Ashok Gupta Secretary, K. K. Pargal Vice president, Jai Gopal Cashier, V. R Sharma, Ditt Kumar Sharma, Rajni Kant Sharma, Shiv Prasad Sharma.
