Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 21: Militants on Saturday afternoon attacked the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers in Mattan area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district, police said. Reports said that the militants fired upon CRPF men who were on ROP duty on Khanabal-Pahalgam road at Bumzoo in Mattan area. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Kashmir Range, Amit Kumar while talking to reporters said that the forces were deployed on the road who were attacked by the militants, saying that nobody is injured in the attack. In reply to a query, DIG SKR also said that everything is safe. Meanwhile, police said that the search operation is under process to nab the attackers.
