BJP has some plan to form Govt as Assembly has been kept under suspended animation

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 21: Even after witnessing internal revolt the PDP is in a bid to form the Government. Formation of the Government, for the PDP, may have to be a coalition Government in alliance with the BJP. But the BJP and the PDP know it well that the past three years have proved suicidal for both the parties.
Yes the BJP could form the Government with the support of the grand alliance of the National Conference and the Congress.. Well forming the Government In alliance wit h the Congress, a better option for the PDP, may not help the PDP in winning even a simple majority. And the PDP leadership is dead set to avoid forming the Government with the help of the NC.
Clearing his mind on the fall of the Mehbooba-led PDP-BJP coalition government, the PDP's founder member and MP Muzaffar Hussain Baig has appealed to all party legislators to unite and exuded confidence that PDP can return to power any time.
"I was the president of the party and hold the honor to script the constitution and lay the foundation of this party. No person can be more concerned than me about the survival of the party. I appeal to all legislators to bury the hatchet and not to pay heed to rumours spread to create chaos among legislators," Baig said.
Senior PDP leaders are shocked to see party MLAs in a helpless situation. Unfortunately some people have taken decisions without consulting any senior leader. As such party MLAs should show courage, unite and work for the causes they were elected by the people of their constituencies.
Baig refuted rumors that he was advised by Prime Mi
Behind the veil
ister to support any candidate for the position of chief ministership. Talking about one-on-one meetings of some MLAs with party president Mehbooba Mufti, he said, "I have heard that Mehbooba has assured MLAs that she would act against the leaders who hurt the sentiments of the MLAs. I also suggest her to act against all those whose actions have led to present chaos in the party."
Expressing his dissatisfaction over performance of Mehbooba-led government, Baig said, "The government was not working well and I too spoke over non performance of the government many a times in party meetings and forums. Legislators should unite and work to restore the image of the party damaged by the poor showing of the government during last two three years as there are three more years for the legislators to regain the lost ground in their constituencies."
Baig is hopeful that the PDP may form the Government. This is a clear indication for setting the stage for Ram Madhav's visit to Jammu and Kashmir.Madhav is visiting the state shortly and this visit has created a rumour that Madhav is visiting the state to explore the possibility of forming the Government.
Well neither the Congress nor the NC may dare to forge an alliance with the BJP to form the Government. The two parties know the fate of the PDP by framing an alliance with the BJP. Similarly the BJP is not willing to form the Government in alliance with the support of the Congress and the NC. This way the formation of the Government has become a major question. But the way the Assembly has been kept in suspended animation the BJP has some plan.
