Plan to escape Pak terrorist Naveen Jatt was made, executed from same Jail

Jammu, Aug 3: Central Jail Srinagar is heaven for anti-national elements including some dreaded Pakistani lodged there because terrorists convenened meeting without any hurdle or fear in the premises of the jail. Not only this, dreaded terrorists even planned attacks from the premises of the jail by holding meetings with outsiders who usally come to meet them.
These startling revelations were made by charge-sheet filed today by the NIA in.at NIA Special Court, Jammu against Muhammad Tika Khan, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Syed Tajmul Islam Kirmani, Muhammad Shafi Wani in which relates to the escape of LeT militant Naveed Jatt @ Abu Hanjulla after an attack on Police Escort party on February 6, 2018 while he was being taken for medical treatment at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital (SMHS), Srinagar. Two police personnel of the escort party were killed in the incident.
During the investigation it was found that the escape was in furtherance of a well-planned criminal conspiracy hatched among Muhammad Naveed Jatt alias Abu Hanjulla alias Munna alias Chhota s/o Mohammad Hanief Jatt r/o Chak No-421/EB Boruhwala, District Vehari Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, Hilal Ahmad Rather, Muhammad Tika Khan, Shakeel Ahmad Bhatt, Syed Tajmul Islam Kirmani alias Kachroo, Muhammad Shafi Wani all residents of different villages in Kakapora Tehsil of Pulwama District.
Investigation revealed that the accused conducted meetings in the Central Jail, Srinagar on different dates before the incident and a comprehensive plan was made to effect the escape of LeT militant Muhammad Naveed Jatt.
As per the plan and in furtherance of the criminal conspiracy, the accused conducted a detailed recce of the SMHS Hospital as well as routes to be followed before and after the action.
They also arranged vehicles and weapons to be used in execution of the plan. During investigation, accused Muhammad Tika Khan, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Syed Tajmul Islam Kirmani and Mohd. Shafi Wani were arrested.
LeT militant Muhammad Naveed Jatt alias Abu Hanjulla and other accused Hilal Ahmad Rather are absconding, against whom non bailable warrants have been issued by the NIA Special Court.
After the completion of investigation, NIA filed a charge-sheet against all the six accused. Further investigation is in progress.
