Early Times Report
jammu, Aug 7: Exploiting the slogan of women empowerment, some influential women officers have made JK house in New Delhi an all women institution, wherein officers and officials are reportedly using political clout to get postings.
According to sources, such gathering of women officers has worsened the condition of the JK house.
"The Resident Commission New Delhi has turned into Women's Commission by posting of the women officers from the other departments especially from education department," alleged sources adding that the incompetent women officials have been transferred by the bureaucrats for their self interest and benefits, resulting into plaguing of its functioning
They said that 80% staff of JK House comprises of women who are deputed from other departments of the state which includes eight section heads.
Sharing details, sources said Addl. Resident Commissioner ( a Lady) has been here for last three years, and had become dictator and is accused of harassing the employees in collaboration with other lady officers who have been working here for many years.
As per past practice there has always been one head of department either Principal Resident Commissioner or Addl. Resident Commissioner from state services who looked after the the administration. The Principal Resident Commissioner is holding full charge of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra. He remains there and comes once in a month to this office, leaving it to Addl. Resident Commissioner.
Sources further said that now employees are being harassed in the name of entitlement and are forced to vacate the residential quarters while as all the employees have their allotment orders issued by the Resident Commission authorities from time to time.
