Jammu, Aug 8: Following the complaint, RS Pura police today arrested a Patwari for allegedly molesting a minor girl.
Police sources said that the Patwari has been identified as Bhusan Sharma of RS Pura who has been arrested.
Police quoting the complaint lodged by the parents of the minor victim said that the minor was alone in the house when Patwari Bhusan Sharma visited their house for enquiry of some records.
"Seeing her alone at her home, the Patwari started molestation with her", said police sources adding that the minor reported the matter to her parents when they reached home.
Police further said that acting on the complaint they arrested him and booked him under 354 of RPC and section 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) ACT and further investigation of the case is going. |
