8/9/2018 11:02:26 PM

Early Times Report

BILLAWAR, Aug 9: Senior Congress leader and former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today addressed a large gathering in Kandi area of Billawar constituency.
The meeting was attended by people from different walks of life. Several speakers shared the stage and expressed their helplessness and hardships they are facing under the current BJP regime. The inhabitants who attended the meeting expressed their heartfelt desire to bring Congress back into power as they are fed up by the hollow promises of BJP and said that they are being befooled for the last four years by BJP's fake promises everyday without getting anything concrete on ground. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sharma said that BJP has brought an era of darkness for the present young generation of J&K. He said that BJP failed completely in providing new jobs to educated youth adding that employees and youth of the state have faced the maximum wrath of this weak and incapable BJP leadership.
Dr Sharma said that even the uneducated -illiterate are not left aside and they too have to face the brunt of the policies of BJP government as evident in recent anti-encroachment drives where thousands of road side vendors are deprived of their livelihood without any back up plan of rehabilitation.
