Congress suspends three functionaries from Kishtwar, Doda districts

Jammu, Aug 12: Congress has suspended three functionaries from Kishtwar and Doda districts including Mohd Iqbal Teli (Thathri, Doda), Abdul Latief Mughal (Rashid) (Bhalessa, Doda), Mushtaq Ahmed Hap (Kishtwar) for indiscipline and anti-party activities.
"The President DCC Doda had earlier issued notices to them but they did not even respond to disciplinary notice so the JKPCC disciplinary committee has suspended three functionaries from the primary membership for indiscipline and anti-party activities for a period of six years", the order reads.
The decision was taken by the JKPCC chairman disciplinary action committee headed by Former Minister and Congress leader, on the recommendations made by President District Congress Committee Doda and Kishtwar.
Those suspended are Mohd Iqbal Teli PCC Member, Abdul Latief Mughal (Rashid) PCC Member, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap senior leader for indiscipline and anti-party activities.
In a statement JKPCC chairman disciplinary action committee, JKPCC chairman , said those who damage prospects of the party do not deserve leniency. He said unlike in BJP, the Congress has the tradition of inner party democracy and leaders, workers have the liberty to express their voices in an appropriate manner. Everyone has to understand the difference between inner party democracy and indiscipline".
