Rajouri, Aug 12: People of Rajouri district have been demanding thorough/ detailed investigation of all the departments after the cancellation of 224 backdoor appointments by the Governor's administration.

Now the people of the district have been complaining about many such appointments in other departments on the behest of Ministers/Legislatures including issuing of licenses of Fair Price shops to illiterates by ignoring educated unemployed youth.
The cancellation orders of the backdoor appointments were issued on August 9 by the Governor's administration vide its order No.203-RD & PR of 2018 dt 9/8/18 after an preliminary detailed inquiry was conducted by the Director RDD, Jammu after the complaint and on the directions from Commissioner /Secretary , RDD.

Qazi vide his office letter No.SS/MGNREGA/ACDR/2018-19/3309-33 dt 11/8/2018 has directed all the BDOs to furnish within one day the 'action taken reports' (discontinuations of backdoor engagements) along with their seals and signatures.
Meanwhile, Ashfaq Magray, President Contractor Association has demanded white paper on the funds utilized during the regime of PDP-BJP coalition government.
