FMHWA decides to hold protest on Aug 16

Jammu, Aug 13: Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association has decided to hold one day protest Dharna at DHS Complex Jammu on 16/08/2018 and also decided the workers of Jammu province under salary head 2211 will not work at various Central Schemes including MMR survey in a meeting held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders of the PMHWA said that a deputation of Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association province Jammu had met with Advisor to Governor V.V Vayas on 27/07/2018 at Jammu and advisor had given full assurance to the deputations to solves the problem of pending salary of HEAD 2211 of family welfare department within 15 days.
But till Date there was not output. The leaders of the Association appealed to the Higher Authority to solve the just burning demands including delinking the CSS salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking) and release the pending salary since March, 2018, Job functions of FMPHWS must be fixed at Par other working categories of Health sector, Up gradation for the post of FMPHW on the analogy of Pharmacist, Lab Tech., X-Ray Tech., Dental Tech. and Ophthalmic Tech, Creation of the post of LHVs in New PHCs, Seniority List of FMPHWs is published in the Official Website of the Health Department for bringing transparency in promotions, 50% quota to be allotted in favour of trained LHVs at par with MMPHSs promoted as Health Educators, Amendment of SRO 20 dated: 20-04-1992 which is pending in the Administrative Departm-ent for the last 27 years.
