Alarming signals for BJP as Lal Singh's function gets over-whelming response
8/16/2018 11:27:52 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 16: Unexpected turnout in Choudhary Lal Singh's parallel Independence Day function at Jammu is a warning signal for BJP because party has failed to get response of public in its Independence Day functions across Jammu region. BJP is worried these days because with every passing day Lal Singh is strengthen his base in the rural areas of Jammu region and very soon he is going to start his working in the urban areas.
Credible sources said that BJP had tried to best to ensure that minimum presence in Lal Singh's rally and workers were asked not to attend the function but efforts of BJP leadership proved futile.
BJP is landed in Catch 22 position because neither party has guts to take action against Lal Singh nor party leadership can ignore him.
Under the banner of apolitical organization 'Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan', floated on July 22, Singh has stepped up political activities to make inroads into BJP's strongholds by raking up pro-Dogra sentiments.
BJP leadership is worried over support received by Lal Singh in his on-going 'apolitical' campaign to restore dignity of Dogra people. As of now the party leadership is helplessly watching Lal Singh hijacking pro-Jammu agenda and pushing BJP to the wall
While floating his apolitical organization, Lal Singh had released "Vision Document" in which all political issues pertaining to Jammu region were incorporated.
