Ex-Director ISM trying for reinstatement on same post
Shows false achievement in report card

JAMMU, Aug 16: In recent past a lobby of ISM Doctors and Pharmacists circulated false achievements of Ex-director on social websites with an aim to reinstate the official on same post.
Sources in department concerned told Early Times that on basis of false achievements, the lobby urged higher authority to continue such developmental programmes for welfare of patients and the development of department.
The loyalists of Ex-director highlighted the achievements on social media like construction and functioning of Ayurveda and Unani colleges. Despite having sufficient funds the director in seven years failed to construct the colleges building. The director has serving of 13 years as a director General ISM has failed to make the college functional at Akhnoor. Complaints from various quarters regardiang the illegal start of college in the building meant for Drug Testing Laboratory at Jammu completely funded by government of India in 2002.
The first batch of BAMS was started at Drug testing Laboratory building comprising of not more than 3 rooms. The faculty has been deployed by drawing the medical officers of ISM from various field institutions rendering most of them defunct.
The college was started on internal arrangement basis by Ex-director without creation of even a single post. Similarly an amount of Rs. 23.50 cr has been spent on the Unani College Ganderbal but in lapse of seven years the college yet to functional.
To the utter surprise, faculty has been deployed to unsanctioned Unani Hospital at Shalteng Srinagar, which itself is without a single post. The Medical officers were with drawn from the field institutions rendering them defunct. The college yet to commissioned, however the director managed to get the additional charge of non-existent post of Principal Unani Medical College. However, the college already one nodal officer, who has been assigned a job of making college functional.
The director also highlighted another achievement like during his tenure he constructed 30 ISM dispensaries but in reality many of them not completed and CAG have pointed audit objections into constructions of these dispensaries.
The director also highlighted another achievement like constructed Deputy Directorate complex, District Office, Controller Office-cum Drug Stores but at ground no such construction is going on. The director highlighted these so called achievements for many years. However, all these projects is yet to get a nod from JMC and other agencies.
