| Sham exposes Mir's game plan to project sycophants leaders | | | Early Times Report
jammu, Aug 17: Although Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president G A Mir is holding constituency wise meetings to strengthen party before Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayat elections, all is not well in the party because 'drawing room' politicians have virtually hijacked the party due to 'weaknesses' of Mir.
Sources said that during meeting of Akhnoor assembly segment, which was held on Thursday former minister Sham Lal Sharma snubbed drawing room politicians who are taking benefits of the weaknesses of the G A Mir.
Sources said that Mir asked 'drawing room' politicians to speak during the meeting but Sham Lal Sharma bluntly told that there is no need to allow such politicians to speak in the important meeting. Eye-witnesses said that Sharma snatched mike from one of the district president of Congress, whose appointment has created anger in the party.
Sources said that during the review meeting of Akhnoor assembly segment, Mir deliberately tried to give opportunity to a controversial district president to address the meeting but Sham Lal Sharma sabotaged Mir's move to give importance to a district president who had got the post due to sycophancy.
Credible sources G A Mir is trying to project only those politicians who have no base among public only to tackle those leaders in the party who have strong base. Mir is very much aware that leaders who have mass base would not accept his dictates so his is only projecting sycophants. |
