JAMMU, Aug 19: A general meeting of Ward No. 69 was held in Sainik farms, at Sainik Colony today.
The meeting was presided by Jai Singh, Senior Congress Leader and Ex- Corporator ward no. 69. The agenda of the meeting was upcoming municipal elections and panchayati elections. Various issues were discussed regarding the welfare and upliftment of people of ward 69.
The failure of BJP-PDP government was also discussed in this meeting. Jai Singh raised the issue that due to the coalition govt, three times governor rule has been imposed in the state.
He also raises the issue that the centre govt has been failed in providing jobs to the youth. Also, the petrol and diesel price has hit highest level under BJP govt. He appeals to the people to vote for right candidate in the upcoming municipal elections and panchayati elections.
