At Udhampur protest of hundreds of ReTs was led by state president Vinod Sharma, State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria and District President Lekh Raj Parihar. While addressing the gathering Vinod Sharma showed his resentment against the casual and biased approach of the government to resolve the issue of delinking of SSA salary and implementation of 7th pay commission for SSA teachers, head teachers and RMSA masters. He said that due to delaying tactics of the government forty thousand teachers and their families are suffering badly and are forced to come on roads by closing their schools. "How can we give our best to students when we are living in mental trauma due to non implementation of 7th Pay Commission", he said. Similar protests were held at other parts of State. Meanwhile executive body of ReT Forum has threatened to intensify their stir after the holy festivals of EID -ul-Aza and Raksha Bandhan and for any sort of untoward incidents in the protests the government would be personally responsible. |
