Hockey Club Classico clinches Roller Sports Championship

Jammu, Aug 22: HC Classico clinched the senior men's title by defeating Shiva Roller Skating Club (9-6) in the final league match. The team comprised of Vinay Bakshi (captain), Ankush Gupta, Rupinder Paul Singh, Maheshwar Sharma, Vinay Kohli, Jatin Sabarwal, Jugraaj singh and Ritik Sharma. Shiva Roller Skating bagged silver and Addiction Club claimed bronze.
In the final match Jugraaj singh (6 goals), Jatin Sabarwal (3 goals) were the top scorer's for Classico club and Darpan (3 goals) for the Shiva Roller Skating club. In the inline men's category, Indiana club lifted the title by defeating Inline hawks in a close encounter. In junior boy's, Roller Athlete Skating Club clinched gold, Heritage School silver and Cheetna club finished third. In sub junior's, Heritage School emerged winner.
The medals were distributed by the President of JKRSA G.S. Khurmi along with the esteemed members of the association namely Seema kharyal, Roshan Gupta and Jatinder Sharma. The championship was organized by HC Classico under the supervision of JKRSA in which about 250 skaters participated with great enthusiasm.
