KC Royals, Simula Strikers register wins in PPCL

JAMMU, Aug 26 : KC Royals and Simula Strikers registered wins in their first league match in the ongoing Police Public Cricket Premier League which is being organized organized under the Chairmanship of Dr.SD Singh Jamwal IGP Jammu at KC Sports Club Jammu
The executive/organizing committee members of the league includes Bhim Sen Tuti DIG Jammu, Vivek Gupta SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Hilal Rather, Ramesh Kotwal SP Headquarters Jammu, Dushant Sharma SP Rural, Prashant Mahajan CPO Jammu, Madan Mohan Dy.S.P DAR Jammu, Rajesh Dhar, Sudhir Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan ,Vijay Saberwal and Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer and the Organizing Secy.
The slogan of the league will be "let our Junior Cricketers feel the aroma of IPL at Jammu with J&K Police".
Earlier in the first match KC Royals defeated MS Stars by 9 wickets in an easy contest. Batting first MS Stars scored 39 runs for the loss of all wickets in 11 overs in which none of the batsmen reached double figure.
From Bowling Side Nityam and Abay Todon took 3 wickets each which Archit Mahajan took 2 wickets. In reply KC Royals chased the target in 7 overs by losing one wicket. Ranjom Singh from Chandhigarh scored 20 runs in 5 balls with 2 sixes and 2 fours, Dhikshant scored 15 runs , the only wicket from MS Stars took by Sukhman thus KC Royals won the match by 9 wickets. Nityam was declared man of the match award with cash Prize of Rs.2000/- sponsored by ACC Cement.
In the second match Simula Strikers defeated Count Fitness Hurricans. Batting first Simula Strikers scored 128 runs in 16 overs game by losing 6 wickets with Musaif Aijaz 61 runs, Jasbir 17 runs and Samarpit 16 runs. From the bowling side Parth, Gurdaat, kartik, Ateek took 1 wicket each. In reply Count Fitness Hurricans managed to score 83 runs for the loss of all wickets. Amit Jha from Nagpur scored 23 runs, Chitwan Scored 15 runs and Nishank 13 runs. From Simula Strikers Suraj took 2 wickets, Sujal and Ashfaq took 1 wicket each. Musaif was declared as Man of the Match with cash Prize of Rs.2000/- .
In todays' matches Ramesh Mahajan Former Chairman JKCA, Hilal Rather were the Chief Guests who were introduced with the participating teams they distributed Man of the matches awards to the players in presence of Ankush Abrol, Arjun Choudhary, Rahul Mahajan, Ajay Manhas, Rajesh Dhar and Rajesh Gill Org Secy of the event.
The eight participating teams which includes Simula Strikers, Elite Tigers, Horizon Kings, Wheelocity Vishal bulls, KC Royals, Count & Fitness Hurricans, Vriddhi Royals and MS stars. The franchise owners are Hilal Rather, Ramesh Mahajan, Ashish Singh, Atul Abrol, Arvind Koul,Robin Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan and Tajinder Singh. The official sponsors of the league are Crazy Few Films, J&K Police & KC Sports Club whereas the co sponsors included Big FM 92.7, ACC Cements, Skoda, Pir Panchal Constructions, Surya Milk, Vivo, Rivazo Homes, Deccan ply , Protinex and Teg Infrastructure. In the league 14 players from Nepal, Bangladesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, UP, Nagpur, Uttrakhand and 114 players J&K are participating.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Sham Singh, Ashok Kumar and Sanju.
Tomm match : KC Royals Versus Wheelocity Vishal Bulls at 9 am and Simula Strickers Versus Vriddhi Royals at 1,30 pm.
