Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 27: General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) has expressed concern over the delay in resolving the pending demands of clerical staff including lab assistant, junior assistant, library assistant through departmental promotion committee. According to press release, State President Neeraj Sharma said that the unnecessary delay speaks the volume of mismanagement, inefficient functioning and lack of commitment towards the work by the officers at helm of affairs, who put these class of employees to trouble from time to time having their no fault. Further Neeraj Sharma informed the media that for the last one and half month, General Line Teachers Forum showed their positive Approach and Represented the issue before the Authorities at the helm of affairs in a legal and democratic way, but the authorities have always taken the positive approach of the forum as its weakness. Neeraj Sharma informed the Media person that injustice and discrimination with these people is increasing day by day, which can be gauged from the recently issued promotion list of Class IV employees to Lab Assistants and Junior Assistants, whereby all the promotes are given the benefit of Charge allowance and other service benefits till their confirmation by the DPC. While those were promoted in 2014 have not been provided with any such kind of allowances and service benefits. These class of employees are feeling betrayed due to highly irresponsible and egregious conduct of officers which is totally unacceptable. Those prominent who attended the conference were Tajinder Singh, Ramneesh Khajuria, Digvijay Singh, Amit Dabgotra, Vijay Singh Chib, Sham Lal, Dev Raj, Ashwani, Champa, Harpreet, Wasim Chowdhary, Imtiaz Ali, Behari Lal and many others. |
