Kathua, Aug 27: Nehru Yuva Kendra Kathua has organized seven day duration non residential "Life Skill Education Training Camp under" the Scheme of NPYAD of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India at Rose Public Higher Secondary School Main Bazar Nagri. Around 45 adolescent girls hailing from surrounding villages has participated to develop their abilities for adaptive and positive behaviours that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demand and changes of everyday and lead happy and successful life. During the seven days, adolescent girls were educated about the changes and challenges in adolescent age and how the cope with these challenges. Rimmi Saini, MA. Bed and scholar and Neeru Bakshi social worker and scholar were main trainers. Resource Persons from Police Department Vikaraant Sharma, Chief Prosecutor Officer, Delivered lecture on " Legal protection to the adolescent girls and police assistance"Dr. Nitiak Mahajan, Medical Officer delivered lecture on Process of Physucak, Psychological and Behavioural changes in adolescent age, Sh. Bhagwati Prashad and Krishan Kant from Art of Living delivered lecture and performed yoga exercises on Art of Living through coping with stress and emotion, Madam B.K. SitaKant delivered lecture on self awareness and critical thinking, besides various topic regarding flagship programme like swachh Bharat Mission, sanitation and hygiene, Beti Bachao Bet Padio etc discussed. Harvinder Singh delivered lectured on advantage and disadvantages of social media and information technology. |
