Jammu, Aug 27: Dental check-up camp organized at JK Montessorie British school in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad in the school premises here today. A team of Senior Specialist Dental Surgeon and Para-medical staff carried out a comprehensive dental checkup of a students of different classes. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental aliments especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay. He surgeons also highlighted about the possible formation of harmful acid which develop when bacteria (plaque) get in contact with sugar in mouth which ultimately results in tooth decay. Added sugar often present in soft drinks, candies, cookies ,pastries one must read the food lables and choose the right food and beverages that are low in added sugar , the dental surgeons added . The management thanks the dental surgeon, Para medical staff Alok Sharma Secretary, Arun Sharma Regional secretary (organization) , Dev Raj Sharma Regional Secretary(Sewa), Parneesh Mahajan Vice- President BVP Talab Tillo Branch and Vice Principal Smt.
