KC Royals, Simula Strikers register 2nd wins | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: KC Royals and Simula Strikers registered their second wins in their first league match in the ongoing Police Public Cricket Premier League Earlier in the first match KC Royals defeated Wheelocity Vishal Bulls by 9 wickets in an easy contest. Batting first Wheelocity Vishal Bulls scored 62 runs for the loss of all wickets in 19.1 overs with Sachin 19 runs and kamalpreet 12 runs were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Nityam and Abay Todon took 3 wickets each which Arjun and Aqib shared 1 wicket. In reply KC Royals chased the target in 12.1 overs by losing one wicket. Ranjom Singh from Chandhigarh scored 37 runs, Abhay Tondon scored 35 , thus KC Royals won the match by 9 wickets. Abhay Tondon was declared man of the match award with cash Prize of Rs.2000/- sponsored by ACC Cement. In the second match Simula Strikers defeated Vriddhi Royals. Batting first Simula Strikers scored 115 runs in 20 overs game by losing all wickets with Amar 45 runs, Rohan Gill 28 runs and Snoop 8 runs. From the bowling side Shivam Koul took 4 wickets,Deepak took 2 wickets and Dhruv took 1 wicket . In reply Vriddhi Royals managed to score 109 runs for the loss of all wickets. Tarun Bisht From delhi scored 24 runs , Harsh Singh scored 23 and Shivam scored 20 runs. From Simula Strikers Snoop took 3 wickets, Musaif and Jasbir took 1 wicket each. Amar From Luckhnow was declared as Man of the Match with cash Prize of Rs.2000/- . The eight participating teams which includes Simula Strikers, Elite Tigers, Horizon Kings, Wheelocity Vishal bulls, KC Royals, Count & Fitness Hurricans, Vriddhi Royals and MS stars. The franchise owners are Hilal Rather, Ramesh Mahajan, Ashish Singh, Atul Abrol, Arvind Koul,Robin Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan and Tajinder Singh. In the league 14 players from Nepal, Bangladesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, UP, Nagpur, Uttrakhand and 114 players J&K are participating.
