MS Stars, Count Fitness Hurricans register wins

JAMMU, Aug 28: MS Stars and Count & Fitness Hurricans registered their first wins in their first league match in the ongoing Police Public Cricket Premier League
Earlier in the first match MS Stars defeated Elite Tiger by 3 runs in an fantastic contest. Batting first MS Stars scored 101 runs for the loss of all wickets in 20 overs with Achintaya 47 runs and Sukhmaan 17 runs were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Amaan Ali took 4 wickets and Anmol Riana took 2 wickets. In reply Elite Tigers could not chased the target and managed to make 98 runs by losing nine wickets. Ravi Partap Singh from Nepal scored 27 runs with two sixes, kannav and Anmol Raina scored 11 runs each, thus MS Stars won the match by 3 runs. From bowling side Agastaya Sharma took 6 wickets, Uttkarsh took 2 wickets. Augustaya was declared man of the match award with cash Prize of Rs. 2000/- sponsored by ACC Cement.
In the second match Count Fitness Hurricans defeated Horizon Kings by 1 wicket. Batting first Horizon Kings scored 93 runs in 20 overs game by losing all wickets with Arnav Gupta 25 runs, Prayas 18 runs and Abhinav Pandey 16 runs. From the bowling side Amit Jha took 2 wickets, Rahul, Kartik, Hunzala and Areen took 1 wicket each. In reply Count Fitness Hurricans chased the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Amit Jha scored 37 runs, Nishank and Areen scored 13 each runs. From bowling side Abhnav Pandey and Prayas took 3 wickets each, Harjeet took 1 wicket. Amit Jha From Nagpur was declared as Man of the Match with cash Prize of Rs. 2000/- .
In todays' matches former Skipper Ranji teams Kamwaljeet Singh and Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports were the Chief Guests who distributed the man of the matches awards to the players and also shared their experiences with the participating players.
