Sunderbani seeks probe in 'fraudulent' selection of ReTs | | | Early Times Report Rajauri, Aug 31: Claiming that the concerned Education department officials resorted to large-scale corruption in the selection of Rehbar-e-Taleem(ReT)s in zone Lower Hathal at Sundarbani here, the locals have sought a Vigilance probe into the matter. The locals, including aspirants for the post of ReT said, that in 2015 the officials at the Zonal Education Office created vacancies for around 15 teachers by transferring teachers from schools in the area only to absorb their favorites for the posts. "Huge money from the taken from those absorbed in the jobs whereas more educated and capable aspirants were dropped," the locals said. They said the then government had been silent on the issue but now that the Governor's rule has brought hope of good governance there as a need to probe. "We request the Raj Bhawan to get a vigilance probe ordered and it will clear that selections were made only through corrupt means," the locals said. |
