Jammu, Sept 5: Dr K.C Sharma NCSTC National & International Awardee Udhampur J&K, attending 1st Technical Advisory Committee meeting at Balasore, Odisha, Department of Science & Technology Government of India and approved 22 projects for the country concerning policy initiatives & implementation mechanism and extending DST support for promoting communication of scientific and technological knowledge with a view to involve & empower people to enable them to take informed decision. Decision was also taken in searching "unknown Innovative & creative" people from anywhere particularly the grass root innovators from villages and small towns along with other member participants were Prof. N Ramanan Formerly Director & UGC-BCR Faculty Fellow, Madras University Chennai, Prof. Baljinder Singh PIME & Research Chandigarh, Prof. H S Singh Pro. VC, CCS University Meerut, Prof. T. V Suresh Kumar MSRIT Banglore, Dr. Vipin Kumar Director NIF Ahmadabad, Dr. Shalini Smanla Deptt. of P & SM, VMM College New Delhi, Prof. Balram Pani Principal, Delhi University , Mrs Najeema Unnikammu NCSTC National Awardee, Kerala Agri. University, Prof. S. K Tripathi Deptt. of Forestry, Mizoram University, Aizawl, Dr. Ridhi Shukla ASH, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, & Dr Thoudam Regina Devi D/O Zoology, Gargi College New Delhi, Dr ABP Mishra, Scientist DST, under chairmanship of prof. Krishna Mishra IIIT Allahabad & discussed 73 projects out of which 22 were approved by the committee in two day meeting held on 30-31 August 2018. |
