Jammu, Sept 6: As per annual activity calendar issued by the Director General Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Kashmir Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed (KAS) the Department of Youth Services and Sports organized the Inter District Division Level tournament for under 17 and 19 years boys and girls in the discipline of Speedball under the overall control of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Madan Lal at Sports Stadium Kathua. The tournament was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ghanshyam Singh (KAS). A total of 78 players of three Districts Kathua, Samba and Jammu participated. Today's Competitions were officiated by Sukhram, Parveen Singh Lakhanpuria, Ajay Kumar and Sahil Janjua. Today's Results in Under 17 years Boys. Solo. Mayank of Kathua got gold medal. Singles. Sumohit of Jammu won gold. Doubles. Kartik and Navdeep of Samba secured gold and Rakshul and Jagandeep of Kathua silver. Relay. Team of Danish, Manish, Yuvraj and Guruvansh of Jammu got gold and team comprising of Avinash, Lakshman, Rohit and Shubam of Samba got silver. Under 17 Girls. Adhya Gupta of Jammu and Udity Verma of Jammu won gold medals in Solo and Singles. In Doubles, Prashima and Kanika of Jammu got gold medal with first position. Anshika and Vanshika got silver.In Relay, Tanvi, Muskan, Vaidita and Shivangi of Kathua secured gold medals. Under 19 years Boys. Sushant of Kathua first position in Solo, Parmjeet of Kathua first position in Singles. In Doubles, Amritansh and Parkash of Jammu got gold medals and Pankaj and Manik of Kathua silver. In Relay, Team of Gurmanjeet, Harsh, Vikrant, Paranay of Jammu stood first and got gold medals.
