Jammu, Sept 8: Eulogizing the unrelenting efforts of JKNPP to uphold the honour and pride of Dogras and its persistent struggle ensuring equitable share and justice to Jammu region, dozens of social activists led by Rajiv Mahajan President Ram Sena today joined Panthers Party in an impressive function held in Jammu in the presence of party Chairman and former Minister Harsh Dev Singh today. The new entrants pledged to support Harsh Dev Singh in his crusade against the discriminatory policies of successive state govts. with Jammu region and to strengthen Panthers Party so as to empower Jammu region. Prominent among other who joined included Vipan Dewan, Parshotam Sharma, Rakesh Magoo, Ramesh Thakur, Karnail Chand, Susheel Verma, Kulbir Singh Slathia, Rajinder Gupta (Gora), Aman Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma besides others. Speaking on the occasion President Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan said that NPP alone could safeguard the interests of Jammu region which had been subjected to the most humiliating and hostile treatment by successive state and central govts. He said that his organization along with others had whole heartedly supported BJP in the last elections and launched vigorous campaigns in its favour under the belief that the issues of Jammu would receive priority attention of the party which always claimed itself to be the champion of Jammu people.
