As per the relatives of the pregnant woman from Adarsh Colony area, she was admitted to District Hospital after she developed labour pains Saturday night. However, When her relatives tried to seek urgent medical assistance from the Gynaecologist on duty, she misbehaved with her (Pregnant lady ) and her relatives not only misbehaved but also pushed the Pregnant women. They alleged that the said doctor refused any treatment and referred her to Government medical college and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu .
Irate over such 'inhuman' treatment, the family members started protesting against the arrogant lady Doctor. Sources disclosed this was not the first case of misbehaviour by the lady doctor and despite repeated complaints, the Health department no action against the said lady doctor.
Sources said that the doctor was furious with the said pregnant lady as during her pregnancy, she had visited another doctor while she was regularly visiting the same gynaecologist for regular check-ups.
"Bad behaviour of doctors and para medical staff with the patients visiting from far off places of the district has made this hospital notorious amongst the patients as repeated incidents of bad behaviours have been reported" said a social activist.
Meanwhile, relatives of the pregnant woman have demanded immediate action against the lady doctor to set an example for the other doctors who ill -treat their patients.
