PHE workers and land donors stage protest against administration

Jammu, Sept 10: All J&K ITI Trained, CP Workers and Land donors Association today staged protest demonstration for their pending wages at Akhnoor.

The protest was led by Tanveer Hussain President of Association along with various division/district presidents and general secretaries along with the central committee including Deepak Gupta (V. President), Subhash Rakwal (Gen Secy), Bhanu Partap, Sanjeev Thakur etc.
Addressing the leadership Deepak Gupta (State Vice President) said that wages of workers are not been paid since last many months and PHE daily wagers are struggling very hard to meet their both ends.
He said government failed to keep their promise of releasing salary on EID or Raksha Bandan because of which we are left with no other option than to go on "Kaam Chodo Hartaal" from today.
Tanveer Hussain (State President) said that government should immediately release all the pending wages of the daily wagers without any delay. He said that during announcement of SRO it was assured that proper wages head will be formed and daily wagers will get regular salaries without any delay but it was just eye wash of government and we are suffering a lot.
He demanded government should keep their promise and should release all salaries and we announce clearly that there will be no compromise by association on pending salaries and our strike will continue until all pending wages are released. He further extended the "Kaam Chodo Hartal" for next 72 hours.
The others who were present during the press conference are Sat Pal (V.President Akhnoor Division), Subhash chander (Sr.Advisor Akhnoor Division), Raj Kumar (Gen Secy Akhnoor), Kasturi Lal (President Nariwala Section), Arjun chowdhary (Bhdan Maan chak President), Surjeet Kumar (President Khour), Sat Pal President (Chowki Choura), Liaqat Ali (President Kot Bhalwal), Ramesh Chander (President Sohal), Sr. Bhupinder Singh, Mohd. Khan, Bhag Hussain, Rajinder Singh Bhau, Dinesh Sharma, Verinder Kumar, Rakesh Sardhalia, Munish Bawa etc.
