Fresher's party organised at GGM College

Jammu, Sept 11: Senior Students of Department of Computer Science Government Gandhi Memorial Science College organized a fresher's party "SAMPRATINADITI" on Tuesday.
Principal Dr. Satinder Singh, faculty members and students of second year and third year of B.C.A welcomed students of first year. This welcome party is much awaited affair for seniors as well as juniors. This ceremony began with welcome for juniors where Dr. Minu Bala, Head Department of Computer Science, welcomed the Principal to the function, where Principal Dr. Satinder Singh lightened the lamp and introduced to the students with the traditions of the college and exhorted the students for developing overall personality.
The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers that made event even more charming. Newly inducted Students of first semester of BCA presented their feelings and introduced themselves. The event further entered into a joyous state with solo music instrument performance by Shobit Gupta, dance performance by Kajal Bhat and Ms. Anita Shan students of second year BCA, based on the theme followed by question answer session for judging Shreya and Mumin were adjudged as Fresher and Fresher 2018.
The team work of different clubs of the institute played a very important role in making the event a huge hit. The event concluded with every newcomer carrying a feeling of happiness within them. The show revealed the tireless efforts of all the students in exhibiting this programme.
Prof. Surinder Singh, Dr. Anjana Sharma, Prof. Rahul Sharma, Dr. Kumar Sourabh, Prof. Bindu Jamwal, Prof. Ravleen Singh and other staff members of different department were present in the event.
