Over 50 youth join Panthers Party
9/13/2018 9:54:59 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 13: Adopting the dogma of Panthers Party more than 50 youth belonging to different wards of Jammu joined Panthers Party in the presence of Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP at Party Headquarters today.
Balwant Singh Mankotia State President, Gagan Pratap Singh and Sham Gorkha State Secretaries, Pratap Singh Vice President Young Panthers and Rashpaul Singh also welcomed the new entrants in the party fold during the occasion.
Coming down ferociously on the erstwhile sinister alliance and BJP in particular for perpetuating discrimination against the youth of Jammu in employment avenues, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister said that youth of Jammu had assimilated and united under Panthers Party to no longer reconcile with the second class status. He divulged that the regional bias in selections by the recruiting agencies and the harassment of the underemployed had caused a severe embitterment among the youth of Jammu who had lost hope in the system.
He flayed the callous attitude of the BJP-PDP dispensation towards the highly qualified young contractual lecturers of Schools comprising of female candidates in majority who had been sitting on relay hunger strike for the last 575 days for regularization of their services. Similar was the fate of contractual lecturers of Colleges and Polytechnics who were also the victims of exploitation while working on paltry salaries for years, he said.
Wondering over the slogans of 'Achey Din' and 'Beti bachao, Beti Padhao' sold by the Saffron brigade with a big bang, he said that thousand of crores of rupees had been incurred only to woo the youth for votes as these 'jumlas' had failed to make an virtual impact on the ground. He also lambasted the previous dirty combine for its nonchalant attitude towards thousands of DRW's, Need based workers and Casual labourers of various departments vis-a-vis PDD, PWD, PHE, R&B, I&FC, Health & Medical Education, Forest, Horticulture, Agriculture, TDAs, including NRHM workers, Anganwari workers and other lower rung employees who were forced to work like bonded labourers and languish in open without paying their meager wages for more than 4 years. "Teach BJP a lesson in the forthcoming elections by weeding it out from the land of Dogras", Harsh roared.
Prominent among those who joined NPP today included Surinder Chauhan, Suresh Kumar, Sanjeev Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Gorkha Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kehar Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Tilak Raj, Sunil Kumar, Joginder Singh, Vikram Choudhary, Sameer Choudhary, Mohan Lal, Makhan Lal, Gulzar Singh, Sushant Verma, Parshotam Lal, Sanjay Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Vicky Kumar, Shubam Kumar, Atul, Pardeep Choudhary, Romesh Choudhary, Rahul Kumar, Ranjeet, Rohit, Sanjeev, Bittu Choudhary, Sameer Singh and Hans Raj.
