Professor Sei-Ichiro Ueki of Tokai University visits CUJ

Jammu, Sept 18: Professor Sei-Ichiro Ueki of Tokai University, JAPAN has been visiting the department of Mathematics, Central University of Jammu (CUJ) during September 10-October 05, 2018.
Professor Ueki has already established a collaborative research link with Dr. Ajay K. Sharma, Head, Department of Mathematics, CUJ and they have jointly published five research papers in leading international journals.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Professor Ueki is actively engaged in the research in the area 'Analytic function theory and Composition Operators' and the department of Mathematics has rich potential in this field as two other faculty members namely, Prof. S.D. Sharma and Dr. Sanjay Kumar also deeply involved in this area.
The main purpose of this visit is to further strengthen the research ties between two universities. During his stay in the Central University of Jammu Professor Ueki has been interacting with faculty, scholars and students of the department.
His visit definitely will encourage the faculty and scholars of the department to develop international collaborations with experts from various countries. He has also plan to visit neighbouring universities such as University of Jammu, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and BGSB University.
