JAMMU, Sept 19: After sexual exploitation scandal now commission scam rocked state unit of BJP with district president of party Mangu Shah aka Kuldeep Dubey has exposed top leaders for allegedly indulging into corruption and demanding commission.
Credible sources said that state executive committee meeting of the party which was held at Akhnoor on Sunday, Mangu Shah, who is big political figure in Ramban and Reasi districts due to relations with leaders of all parties, had exposed top leadership of the party and alleged that many leaders have been indulged into corrupt practices by demanding commission and funds from businessmen.
Mangu Shah, who had resigned from the post of district president of the party on Sunday, alleged that some senior leaders of the party, who were ministers in the previous PDP-BJP government had demanded money from him in exchange of doing some genuine works.
Mangu Shah, who had resigned from NC to contest election on BJP mandate in the year 2014 from Gool-Arnas seat, is annoyed with senior leaders for allowing corruption in the party.
Credible sources further said that for the last two years Shah has approached senior leaders a number of times to check corruption in the party but senior leaders preferred to close their eyes.
Sources said that attitude adopted by senior leaders on complaints of Shah has pointed finger of suspicious towards them.
Sources said that it was all due to pressure from RSS that party leadership has failed to take action against those who former ministers against whom Shah had leveled charges of corruption. |
