Sabha expresses pleasure over publication of historic book

JAMMU, Sept 21: President of the Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Ved Parkash Sharma expressed pleasure over the publication of a historic book depicting the life and the great service to the society by the great Dogra leader Pt. Prem Nath who had served the people in various capacities including and administrator, a social reformer and a crusader against the design of separatists and controversial characters.
Addressing gathering during a meeting, Sharma said, "But for us his great service was to able handling the movement against untoucability by organizing Brahman Mukhya Mandal in thirties. This body was later renamed as Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha."
He also praised the work done by Kubushan Mohtra in charge of BJP Library and Documentation department for collecting the pieces to knit these into a book titled, A Saga of sacrifices Praja Parishad movement in Jammu and Kashmir.
The book has been dedicated to Pandit, and un yielding. This book also carries several rare photographs and detail of historic events.
VM Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, NC Sharma, Advocate PC Sharma, Chander Mohan Sharma, Subash Shastri, Jagan Nath Sharma, Gurdass Sharma, ML Sharma, Davinder Sharma(Babu) ,Shiv Ram Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Sat pal Sharma, K. L. Sharma, S. S. Baru, Satpal Khajuria and others who were also present on the occasion hailed the publication of the book life of Duggar Ratten Pt.Prem Nath Dogra ji.
