| People protest against water crisis, block road | | |  Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Oct 10: The people from Karna Parat and adjoining areas held protest against the PHE authorities for the water scarcity and blocked road for over an hour at Naka Mnahjari.
A large number of villagers from Karna Parat and Naka manjhari assembled at Krana Road at around 8 Noon and started protest demonstration. They were shouting slogans against the PHE authorities for their failure to provide adequate supply of water to the area. They alleged that water pipes were broken and not repaired since long and water supply to many localities has been snapped for several weeks.
Later, SHO Gursai Sanjay Gupta arrived there and assured the agitating people that their issue of water will be solved within two days. They also held talks with the AEE PHE Mendhar. |
