Jammu, Oct 15: A mountaineer of Jammu, Shivani Charak has been selected by Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi, the apex body for mountaineering and sport climbing in India.
She will be representing the country in the forthcoming Asian Youth Championship to be held at Chongqing in China from 1st to 4th November, 2018.
Shivani is among the 11 climbers including 5 boys selected from across the country to participate in various categories of this continental sport climbing competition. She along with Shreya Nanker and Arundhati, both from west zone, shall vie for honours in the Youth A Girls category.
Meanwhile, Ram Khajuria & Shawetica Khajuria, General Secretary and Joint Secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K have congratulated. |
