| Soldier shoots self mysteriously | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Oct 15: A soldier allegedlly ended his life by shooting himself with his service weapon under mysterious circumstances in Bari Brahamana area, police sources said.
Police identified the deceased as Sepoy Bahadur Thappa Mager (19) son of Nar Bahadur Thappa Mager of Nepal presently posted with 4/11 GR, Bari Brahamana.
Police sources said that incident took place when he was on sentry duty at around 0300 hours.
Thappa died on the spot and after hearing the gun shot other jawan immdiately ruahed to the spot and found him in a pool of blood.
Later, the body of the deceased was shifted to hospital for autopsy.
Police said that cognizance in this connection has been taken and further investigation of the case in going on. |
