Randhawa honours JKSSLA players

Jammu, Oct 15: J&K State Strength Lifting Association (JKSSLA) today organised an impressive function to produce the best sportsmen in the state and honoured the strength lifting team players who represented the state in the 27th Senior National Men, Women and Master strength lifting championship which was held in Hardoli recently.
MLC Vikram Randhawa was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa motivated and appreciated the performance of players, especially Rakesh Kumar, who has won silver medal in weight lifting category.
He also encouraged youth to participate in sports and games and assured his full support for these activities. Randhawa lauded the J&K Strength Lifting Association, which has been working tirelessly under the leadership of Vicky Mahajan who has given a new hope and opportunity to the state youth.
Speaking on the occasion, technical director Ashok Singh said that with the support of MLC Randhawa, state would witness a revolution in the game. Later, trophies, certificates and I-cards were given to the players. Those present on the occasion included Mulakh Raj, Sat Paul Sharma, Vishal Bharti, Vikas Abrol, Shamash Din, Krishna, Priya Ditta and Raj Kumar.
