| Stolen bike recovered, two arrested | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Oct 16: Samba police today claimed to have recovered a stolen motorcycle and arrested two persons in this connection.
Police spokesman said that on 11th of October of 2018, a written complaint was received at police station Samba from one Nitin Kumar of Sidco Phase-I regarding missing of his bike bearing Registration numberJK21-3704 from Samba area.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR No. 269/18 under section 379 of RPC was registered at Samba police station and search was started to trace out the said missing bike.
Spokesman further said that acting on specific information, a special team was constituted on the direction of Dr. Koshal Sharma-SSP Samba headed by Inspector Chanchal Singh-SHO Samba under the supervision of Deepak Digra-Dy.SP Hqrs Samba raided the spot at Chhan Arorian, District Kathua and recovered the stolen bike from the accused person namely Surmu Din of Ghati Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua presently staying at Thirdu Tehsil Marheen, Kathua.
On further questioning, he disclosed the he had bought the bike from Rajat Sharma alias Badu of Chhan Arorian Tehsil Mahreen, Kathua. Both the accused persons were arrested and further investigation is going on. |
