Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 16: Four-phased municipal elections in J&K have laid foundation for trifurcation of the State-thanks to the competitive politics of separatism being pursued by the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Conference (NC).
The way voters of Jammu division came out to participate in the elections, which were boycotted by both the parties to appease anti-India force, is an indication that people of this region has affiliation with the demands of Kashmir centric parties.
Residents of Ladakh-both Muslims and Buddhists, have also given a befitting reply to PDP and NC leadership for taking them far-granted.
Municipal elections have given a clear message that there is no taker of Kashmir politics in Jammu and Ladakh region so it is better to separate these two regions from Valley where polticians are dancing to the dictates of anti-national elements.
Turnout in these elections have boosted morale of those who are demanding trifurcation of J&K to get Jammu and Ladakh liberated from the yoke of domination of Kashmir. In Jammu region people had voted in the election in a big way to give a message to the PDP and NC leadership that gone are the days when their politics of competitive separatism would be accepted by Jammu people.
Not only Jammu and Ladakh region, non-Kashmir speaking Pahari dominated areas like Uri of Kashmir Valley have also shown mirror to the PDP and NC leadership that Paharis also wanted to get themselves separated from Valley where politics is dominated by emotion and black-mail to deprive common masses of their basic rights.
