Srinagar, Oct 22: A day after "Early Times" carried a news story on National Conference and BJP bonhomie in Thathri Municipal Committee wherein a National Conference leader Payrae Lal Sharma who had recently joined National Conference and has been promoted as potential party candidate for Assembly elections from Inderwal constituency had celebrated the victory of NC backed candidates along with BJP candidate and ensured the stitching of alliance with BJP in seven member Thathri Municipal Committee by offering Vice President post to lone BJP candidate Gurukesh Gupta in lieu of support for his close aide Mansoor Ahmed Butt, the National Conference leadership according to sources has summoned Sharma following massive outrage among the senior party leadership in Kishtwar District.
As per the details available with "Early Times" after surfacing of the celebration photographs of Payrae Lal Sharma with BJP and RSS leaders surfaced on social media and news report carried by "Early Times", the National Conference leadership at State level took serious note of the issue and asked him to report at party Provincial Headquarter Jammu where according to sources, the party has seek explanation from him over the issue following open attack and criticism from Congress party who dubbed Payare Lal Sharma as BJP and RSS men who join the NC by bypassing the NC Kishtwar District unit and mange his joining into NC through former MLA Inderwal Qazi Jalal Din before the Provincial President Davinder Singh Rana.
While confirming the development to "Early Times", a senior National Conference leader distances itself from the controversy added that District unit Kishtwar has no intimation about his joining into NC.

He said that after Early Times report, the party workers approach senior party leaders with the request to take up the matter with state leadership over the issue and termed the bonhomie of Sharma with BJP and RSS as "poisonous" for the party and its leadership.
