Overloading-Two FIRs registered in Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 1: Continuing its drive against traffic violations, Rajouri police today booked two more drivers for overloading in Sunderbani area of the district. Police spokesman said that during traffic checking conducted by Police team of Sunderbani Police Station, one Auto magic bearing registration JK11A-8525 on way to Sunderbani from Peli being driven by driver Pardeep Kumar resident of Peli was found overloaded with eleven passengers and some were hanging from stairs of vehicle thus causing danger to their lives. In this connection, a case under FIR No.110/18 under sections 279 and 336 of RPC, 39/192 MV Act has been registered in the Sunderbani police station and said driver also been arrested on spot. Meanwhile, another Tata mobile bearing registration number JK02AK- 6824 on way to Sunderbani from Bajabhain being driven by driver namely Zaffer Iqbal resident of Madana Surankote was intercepted and found overloaded with 22 passengers thus causing danger to human lives. In this connection, a case under FIR No.111/18 under sections 279 and 336 of RPC and 39/192 MV Act was registered at Sunderbani police station and the driver arrested. Moreover, two motorcycles were seized besides drivers of five other vehicles were also fined. Team of police headed by SHO Sunderbani Roaml Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Khaliq Hussain took the action. |
